Many thanks to our local sponsors who helped make this event happen: BTC Entertainment, Chez Pet, Queensboro Wine & Spirits, Serendipity, Shaker Mill Books, Stone House Properties, The Floor Store, Troy’s Garage, Vivian Outlaw, and the West Stockbridge Farmer’s Market.
More details to come! Please RSVP to help us gauge how many humans and dogs to expect. Not required for attendance.
About the park
Welcome to the (future) West Stockbridge Dog Park! Our goal is to create a welcoming park where dogs can run and play, off leash, and give our town a new place to come together and build community.
The park will span approximately 1.25 acres, made up of a “Small Dog” and “All Dog” section, in a currently unused area along the western edge of the Town Hall lot.
We have worked with our design team to create a park that will not only be beautiful, but functional, with water fountains for dogs and humans, benches, waste stations with complimentary bags, and paths that will be fully accessible and ADA compliant for all to enjoy.
We expect the construction to begin on the park in the summer of 2025, with a grand opening later this fall.
We need your support!
The park will be entirely operated by volunteers and funded by donations, so for it to survive and thrive we need the support of our community and beyond.
There are a few ways that you can help out:
